怪不得(guàibude) — meaning, uses and examples

1. adverb no wonder

   怪不得这么冷，原来窗户开着。

   Guàibude zhème lěng, yuánlái chuānghu kāi zhe.

   No wonder it's so cold — the window was open.

2. verb cannot be blamed

   这事怪不得他。

   Zhè shì guàibude tā.

   He is not to blame for this.
