guài

  1. adverb quite; really (colloquial, often with 的)

    这只小猫怪可爱的。

    Zhè zhī xiǎomāo guài kě'ài de.

    This kitten is awfully cute.

  2. adjective strange; odd

    他今天的样子有点怪。

    Tā jīntiān de yàngzi yǒudiǎn guài.

    He seems a bit strange today.

  3. verb to blame

    这件事不能怪他。

    Zhè jiàn shì bùnéng guài tā.

    He's not to blame for this.
