gòu

  1. adverb quite; rather (often with 的)

    今天够冷的。

    Jīntiān gòu lěng de.

    It's quite cold today.

  2. verb to be enough

    钱不够了。

    Qián bù gòu le.

    There isn't enough money.

  3. verb to reach (by stretching)

    我够不着书架。

    Wǒ gòu bu zháo shūjià.

    I can't reach the bookshelf.
