qǐmǎ

1. adjective minimum; basic (attributive)

   准时是起码的礼貌。

   Zhǔnshí shì qǐmǎ de lǐmào.

   Being on time is basic courtesy.

2. adverb at least

   从这里走过去起码要半个小时。

   Cóng zhèlǐ zǒu guòqù qǐmǎ yào bàn ge xiǎoshí.

   It takes at least half an hour to walk there from here.
