jiùyào

1. adverb to be just about to (more imminent than 要)

   假期就要结束了。

   Jiàqī jiùyào jiéshù le.

   The holiday is just about to end.

2. adverb determined to (resolute will)

   你们都不去，我就要去。

   Nǐmen dōu bù qù, wǒ jiùyào qù.

   None of you are going — well, I am determined to go.
