瞎(xiā) — meaning, uses and examples

1. adjective blind

   他一只眼睛瞎了，只能用另一只看东西。

   Tā yī zhī yǎnjīng xiā le, zhǐ néng yòng lìng yī zhī kàn dōngxi.

   He lost sight in one eye and can only see with the other.

2. adverb recklessly; blindly

   别瞎说，事情不是你想的那样。

   Bié xiā shuō, shìqing bù shì nǐ xiǎng de nàyàng.

   Don't talk nonsense — it's not what you think.
