   我决定明年去中国。

   Wǒ juédìng míngnián qù Zhōngguó.

   I've decided to go to China next year.

2. adverb definitely (before a negative)

   我决不放弃。

   Wǒ jué bù fàngqì.

   I will never give up.

3. verb to decide (a contest)

   两队明天决出冠军。

   Liǎng duì míngtiān juéchū guànjūn.

   The two teams will decide the championship tomorrow.
