不仅(bùjǐn) — meaning, uses and examples

1. correlative conjunction not only (literary/written; usually paired with 而且 or 还)

   这本书不仅有趣，而且很有用。

   Zhè běn shū bùjǐn yǒuqù, érqiě hěn yǒuyòng.

   This book is not only interesting but also very useful.

2. adverb not just; more than

   受影响的不仅是我们一家。

   Shòu yǐngxiǎng de bùjǐn shì wǒmen yī jiā.
