1. preposition along; following (the same direction)

   顺这条路走到底就是车站。

   Shùn zhè tiáo lù zǒu dào dǐ jiù shì chēzhàn.

2. adjective smooth; without a hitch

   最近工作很顺。

   Zuìjìn gōngzuò hěn shùn.

3. verb to comply with; to humor

   老人年纪大了，儿女都顺着他。

   Lǎorén niánjì dà le, érnǚ dōu shùn zhe tā.

   The old man is getting on in years, and his children humor him.
