1. adverb quite; pretty (colloquial, Southern)

   这家店的菜蛮好吃的。

   Zhè jiā diàn de cài mán hǎochī de.

   The food at this restaurant is pretty good.

2. adjective rough; unreasonable

   他这个人有点蛮，不讲道理。

   Tā zhège rén yǒudiǎn mán, bù jiǎng dàolǐ.

   He's a bit brutish and unreasonable.
