    他年纪虽小,志向却很大。

    Tā niánjì suī xiǎo, zhìxiàng què hěn dà.

    Although he is young, his ambition is great.

  2. correlative conjunction even if; even though (concessive supposition; literary)

    此事虽难,也一定要办成。

    Cǐ shì suī nán, yě yīdìng yào bànchéng.

    Even if this is difficult, it must be accomplished.
