相xiāng

1. adverb mutually; each other

   两人相识多年，无话不谈。

   Liǎng rén xiāngshí duō nián, wú huà bù tán.

   The two have known each other for years and talk about everything.

相xiàng

1. noun looks; appearance

   他长得一副福相。

   Tā zhǎng de yī fù fúxiàng.

   He has the look of a lucky man.

2. noun photograph

   墙上挂着全家的相片。

   Qiáng shàng guàzhe quán jiā de xiàngpiàn.

   Family photos hang on the wall.

3. verb to look over; to size up

   他一眼就相中了这套房子。

   Tā yī yǎn jiù xiāngzhòng le zhè tào fángzi.

   He took a liking to this apartment at first sight.
