yòng

1. verb to use; to make use of; to take (time, effort)

   这台电脑很好用。

   Zhè tái diànnǎo hěn hǎoyòng.

   This computer is very easy to use.

2. preposition with; using (introduces the tool, material or manner)

   我可以用一下你的笔吗？

   Wǒ kěyǐ yòng yīxià nǐ de bǐ ma?

3. noun use; function

4. verb to need (mostly in the negative)
