lái

1. verb to come (toward the speaker)

   你快来！

   Nǐ kuài lái!

   Come quickly!

2. verb directional complement: motion toward the speaker (verb + 来)

   他拿出一本书来。

   Tā ná chū yī běn shū lái.

3. verb to bring in; to make (money)
