jiēzhe

1. adverb right after; next (sequential)

   她吃完晚饭接着就出门了。

   Tā chī wán wǎnfàn jiēzhe jiù chūmén le.

   Right after dinner she went out.

2. verb to catch (something tossed)

   我扔给你，你接着。

   Wǒ rēng gěi nǐ, nǐ jiēzhe.

   I'll toss it to you — catch.
