差点

chàdiǎn

1. adverb almost; nearly (of something that came close to happening but did not)

   我差点迟到。

   Wǒ chàdiǎn chídào.

   I was almost late.

2. adjective slightly inferior (colloquial)

   这批货差点，价格也便宜。

   Zhè pī huò chàdiǎn, jiàgé yě piányi.

   This batch is a bit inferior, and cheaper too.
