1. verb to return

   她回家了。

   Tā huí jiā le.

   She has gone home.

2. verb directional complement: back (to a place)

   我走回卧室。

   Wǒ zǒu huí wòshì.

   I walked back to the bedroom.

3. verb to reply

   他还没回我的消息。

   Tā hái méi huí wǒ de xiāoxi.

   He hasn't replied to my message yet.

4. verb to turn (one's head)

   他回过头看了一眼。

   Tā huíguò tóu kàn le yī yǎn.

   He turned his head and glanced back.
