chū

1. verb to go out; to exit

   他出门买菜了。

   Tā chūmén mǎi cài le.

   He's gone out to buy groceries.

2. verb directional complement: outward; extended to accomplishment

   我想出了一个好办法。

   Wǒ xiǎng chū le yī ge hǎo bànfǎ.

   I came up with a good idea.

3. verb to arise; to happen

   机器出了点问题。

   Jīqì chū le diǎn wèntí.

   Something went wrong with the machine.
