jìng

  1. adverb nothing but; only (colloquial, often disapproving)

    他净说废话。

    Tā jìng shuō fèihuà.

    He talks nothing but nonsense.

  2. adjective clean; free of impurities

    把手洗净再吃饭。

    Bǎ shǒu xǐ jìng zài chī fàn.

    Wash your hands clean before eating.
