yú

1. verb to remain; surplus

   交完房租，工资所余不多。

   Jiāowán fángzū, gōngzī suǒ yú bù duō.

   After paying rent, little of the salary remains.

2. numeral odd; more than (after a number)

   一百余人参加了活动。

   Yībǎi yú rén cānjiā le huódòng.
