yīzhí

1. adverb continuously; all along

   他从早上一直忙到晚上。

   Tā cóng zǎoshang yīzhí máng dào wǎnshang.

   He was busy from morning straight through to night.

2. adverb straight (in one direction)

   一直往前走，就能看到车站。

   Yīzhí wǎng qián zǒu, jiù néng kàndào chēzhàn.

   Keep going straight ahead and you'll see the station.
